Ancient Near East, Northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 600 BCE. A cast-bronze cloak pin of slender form bearing an openwork lozenge-shaped finial on top. Above the finial is a solid button handle used to easily maneuver the pin within the thick folds of one's cloak. Size: 7.4" L x 0.625" W x 0.6" H (18.8 cm x 1.6 cm x 1.5 cm)

Condition Report: Slight damage near pin tip and shoulder, with slight bending to overall form, light earthen deposits, and softening to some finer details around finial, otherwise intact and very good. Great patina throughout.
