The body with arms held out to hold off two mythological creatures. The second face flanked on either side by an eagle head, the lower face above the haunches set on a human body, set in a bottle-shaped base with long cylindrical neck. The finials and standards have been interpreted in almost as many ways as the number of scholars who have written about them.
