Manufactured "Under the Blue Dome" of the old Colt factory, US Firearms Manufacturing Co. expertly reproduced classic Colt arms in the 1990s and early 2000s, including Lightning magazine rifles. This example features full polished blue finish. The 20" octagon barrel is chambered in .44-40 and is fitted with a white bead front sight and full buckhorn rear. Checkered walnut slide and straight grip stock with crescent butt plate. CONDITION: Very good. Nearly all of the factory blue is retained with some mild wear and light scratches. Hammer displays strong case colors. Stocks likewise have a few handling marks. Slide also has some mild high edge wear. Mirror bright bore.
