M1881 Indian Scout Dress Helmet by C J Heller

A M1881 Indian scout dress helmet. The liner is stamped CJ Heller Phila, PA Contract May 18th 1898 and QMD /Phila Depot. A felt helmet with brass Indian Scout crossed arrow side buttons, plume holder, cavalry eagle front plate with German silver crossed arrows, red and white plume and set of Indian Scout cords.

Dimensions: 12 1/2 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches wide; 31.8 cm tall X 21.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Age wear.
