This is a 19th century English oil on canvas painting by listed artist John James Hill 1811-1882 showing two lovers; with a wonderful detail and design. It comes with its original 19th century frame; signed by the artist J.J.Hill. It measures approx 42" by 34" framed and 28" by 36" unframed. It was purchased from Sotheby's in New York few years ago.
