MAGNIFICENT RARE 1860'S 12 ARM CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
Absolutely magnificent rare antique 1860-1870 12arm crystal chandelier attributed to F&S Osler of London. These chandeliers are known for thier deep,distinctive, tulip-shaped shades with brass fittings that hold the candle-shaped lights at the end of each arm. The number of "arms" is the primary difference between candlebrada. This varies anywhere between two and eight lights and grandoise examles with greater numbers than this are incredibly rare and due to their size and weight. Candlelabras with more than eight arms are far taller with much wider bases. They are more likely found in Royal estates and nationalal museums
