Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some paint loss on the bottom centre edge and some very faint stains (possibly the discolouration of varnish) on the lower left edge, both only visible upon closer inspection. There is no restoration apparent when viewed under the UV light.

Colour:
The catalogue illustration is accurate; although there is less contrast and less texture with more uniformity of tonalities in the original work. The overall tonality is also softer, a bit darker and smoother in the original work.
