MAHOGANY SEA CAPTAIN'S LIQUOR CHEST
Early 19th c. Brass Bound Mahogany Traveling Liquor Trunk, with brass side handles and escutcheon, fitted with (8) blown glass stoppered bottles (six 9 1/4" high and two 8" high) with gilt decoration, central area with top tray with sleeve to hold two glasses, tray lifts out to reveal fitted area below with two matching stemmed glasses, 10" high, 15" x 10 1/4". One decanter and one glass are replacements (but both are period), stopper base chips.
