MALI, DANCE MASKS - KORE mask, BAMANA, carved wood with a black patina. Significant crack. Height: 42 cm. - KORE mask, BAMANA, carved wood covered with a thick, crusty sacrificial patina. Height: 46 cm. - Small BAMANA mask, carved and blackened wood adorned with seeds and cowrie shells. Height: 23 cm. - Articulated Sogobo puppet, BAMANA, made of polychrome carved wood and kaolin. Height: 54 cm. - Fulani woman’s mask, DOGON, made of fabric, beads, cowrie shells, and plant fibers. Dimensions: harness approx. 55 cm, hood: approx. 38 cm. Condition of the set: missing pieces, minor imperfections, signs of wear. Included: - A ritual votive ladder made of carved wood, DOGON. Height: 29 cm. - A piece of bogolan fabric. Dimensions: approximately 150 x 103. - A set of five dance skirts made of dyed plant fibers and one skirt made of natural plant fibers.
