MANTEL CLOCK "VENUS ET AMOUR",

Directory, the model after designs by F. VION (François Vion, 1764 - ca. 1800), the dial inscribed NORMANT A PARIS, Paris ca. 1800.

Matte and polished gilt bronze. Enamel dial. 2 fine, gilt hands. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Fine mounts and applications. Requires some restoration.

36x15x48 cm.
