Beautifully penned manuscript written on thick paper in petite pointed calligraphic Hebrew by an Aschkenazic hand. Gifted to the Feitsma Family.

ff. (1), 40. Stained in places from use, old tape marks at inner margins. Loose in original calf, rubbed. 16mo.

Leeuwarden, Holland, 1841.

At just under four inches in height this delightful manuscript was penned by the Mohel Yitzchak ben Avraham Ger and and given as a gift by him to the baby born to Salomon Philip Feitsma and his (second) wife Saartje Eliazer Levie van Gelder.

This baby, named Uri, was born on 26th August 1841 and sadly died 21 months later.
