Various sizes. – And 6 similar late 19th-/ early 20th-cent. Dutch manuscript maps & documents in black & blue ink on paper, mainly related to (the surveying of) the same polders (one document signed by the Dutch surveyor A.C. Oosterman, dated “Breda den 8 Juni 1891”).

¶ Ad 1: Collection of 8 late 18th-cent. cartographic archivalia comprising i.a. 2 maps drawn & signed by the Belgian surveyor HENRI ADAN (1725-1795) (“CAARTE van een nieuwe Ingenome Heyde Gelegen aen de Groot Molenbeek onder Borgvliet [..]”, dated 5 February 1762, ca. 38,5 x 49,5 cm. Small hole in upper blank margin & “CAARTE ende Meetinge van Eene Hoeve Lands en weyde geleegen onder de Heerlijkheijd van Borgvliet en Oostmoer [..]”, dated 25 April 1786, ca. 47 x 58,5 cm. Partly waterstained & torn in outer parts) and 1 map drawn & signed by the Belgian surveyor GODEFRIDUS LOOS (“Deeze Caart figúratif behoort tot de meting der Landen ten hooge en laage in den Zúijd Polder van Ossendregt [..], gedaan den 26e: Octob: 1779. was geteijkent Godefridrús Loos [..]”, ca. 38 x 50 cm.). – Partly with defects (horizontal & vertical folds, a few maps with scattered annotations in pencil, occ. sl. soiled/ waterstained, occ. sl. frayed/ torn in outer parts, occ. sl. foxed/ browned).
