Additional Information: This etching is hand-coloured by the artist in yellow, red and green watercolour.
It is signed in pencil "M. Ch." in the lower right margins.
It is numbered in pencil "58/100" on the lower left margins.
The work is from "The Bible" series and was printed by Raymond Haasen, Paris in 1958 in a limited edition of 100 hand coloured impressions.
It is the 8th plate in the series of 105 images that Chagall created for his important series published by Tériade, Paris.
