The item up for bid consists of a FEW STRANDS of Authentic Marilyn Monroe hair and is elaborately custom framed.. The strands of hair offered in this auction have been displayed over a scan of the original lock, making it a substantial display. Framing options are: Gold Leaf, Silver Leaf, or, Silver and Black Laminate. Please let us know which frame you would like at checkout. Otherwise, we will assume the Gold Leaf Frame. Framed Dimensions: 22 ¼ "x 19" and matted with a beautiful photo of Marilyn Monroe, along with an excellent FACSIMILE signature in blue ink (The Signature was scanned from Monroe's first Agency Contract dated 1/10/1947 and signed "Marilyn Monroe"), and a presentation plate inscribed with the following, "Marilyn Monroe (1926 - 1962) Authentic Strands of Hair cut by famous celebrity hairdresser Sydney Guilaroff on June 1, 1962. Marilyn Monroe is Hollywood's most beloved and glamorous female icon."

This magnificent item is guaranteed 100% authentic and Complete Documentation will be provided to the highest bidder. The Authentic lock of Monroe's hair was cut from her hairdresser, Sydney Guilaroff on the set of "Something's Got to Give" on June 1, 1962 (Just months before her unexpected death).
