Technique: Original Hand Signed and Numbered Etching and Aquatint on Arches Wove Paper

Paper size: 92 x 65 cm. / 36.2 x 25.6 in.
Image size: 63 x 49 cm. / 24.8 x 19.3 in.

Additional information: This etching and aquatint is hand signed in blue pencil by the artist with his initials "MM", at the lower right margin.
It is also hand inscribed in pencil “P.A.” (prova d’artista) [Artist’s Proof], at the lower left margin. Our impression is one of 20 artist’s proofs aside from the signed and numbered edition of 50. There was also an unsigned but numbered edition of 125.
It was printed by ZWR, London and published by Labyrinth, Florence in 1979. The work bears the ink stamp of the publisher verso and is signed in pencil by the artist’s wife.
The paper bears the Arches watermark in the lower right corner and the blindstamp of the publisher in the lower left corner.
