MARKED 1860 STAFF & FIELD OFFICERS ETCHED SWORD
Civil War Era Pattern 1860 Staff and Field Officer's Sword. Acid etched double edged blade marked "US" in the center. Ray / shark skin with wire wrapped handle. Constructed in the style of the British pattern 1796 regulation Spadroon. Brass hilt with one of the two clamshells hinged. Complete with original scabbard and original suspension rings.
