MARKLIN SERIES II BATTLESHIP DECIDEE
38. MARKLIN SERIES II BATTLESHIP DECIDEE
Germany, circa 1912-1915, clockwork driven. This is a striking example of an early war ship, amazingly it is primarily original and retains its cradle, this size battleship is impressive but not too big to fit on a mantle. As is typical for these boats with multiple removable pieces some have been professionally replaced to include two cranes and the two larger lifeboats, the flags, and the small lid of rear steering house, this is much less than one would expect. | 33" l. | Beautiful luster on original paint, tip of hull slightly dented and minor pieces added as noted, very little professional touchup at center sides where the fixed cannons were repaired, (Excellent to Pristine Condition) | $30,000 - $50,000
Condition
Beautiful luster on original paint, tip of hull slightly dented and minor pieces added as noted, very little professional touchup at center sides where the fixed cannons were repaired, (Excellent to Pristine Condition)
