Cal. 44. S#. 16757. Approx. 23,000 of these revolvers were mfg from 1858-early 1860's. Fit with a 6" round bbl with dovetailed front sight. 6-shot round cylinder with 12 stops. Standard marked frame. Small parts ave inspector proofs. 1-piece walnut grips with inspector cartouche. CONDITION: Overall fair-good. The metal components are void of finish with some scattered light pitting. Good markings. Grips are hand worn with handling marks and very faint inspector cartouche. Nice bore with good rifling and a couple flecks of pitting. (01-30051/ZAL) ANTIQUE $1000-1500
