Cal. 44. S# 9914. Approx 23,000 mfg from 1858-early 1860's. Martially marked example fit with a 6" round bbl with dovetailed front sight. Standard rec markings. 1-piece walnut grips with inspector cartouches. CONDITION: Overall good. The metal retains 60% thinning original blue with a dark patina in the voids. There is an area of the frame at the breech end of the bbl that has been ground smooth and is in the white. Grips are hand worn with some light handling marks and good inspector cartouches.
