MARY CHASE PERRY PEWABIC POTTERY EARTHENWARE DOUBLE HANDLED VASE, C.1903 - 1918 H 11" W 7.5" D 6.5" Pewabic white clay body. Having matte or satin black glaze on a form inspired from antiquity. Underside impressed with "Pewabic Detroit" mark. Provenance: property of a prominent metro Detroit collector of Pewabic Pottery.

Condition Report: One handle has a prominent glaze bubble burst. Several smaller bubbles burst throughout. The black glaze ground is similar to an example found in the Metropolitan Museum (with an iridescent copper drip).
