Watercolor and pencil on paper, circa 1893 to 1894. Measuring H. 11 1/4" x 5", framed. Reference: Catalogue Raisonné, Williams College Museum of Art, Prestel, 1990 (No. 560, pg. 341). Provenance: the artist; to Charles Prendergast, 1924; to Mrs. Charles Prendergast, 1948; to (Hirschl & Adler), 1959; to Lawrence Fleishman (Kennedy Galleries); to present collection, 1960 (cancelled check in family archives). On loan to the Detroit Institute of Arts from 1962 to present.
Condition Report: Good condition with normal signs of age. Frame has "Hirschl & Adler" inscribed in pencil (twice) on verso, and "3447" stamped on each frame element.
