This work has been reviewed by Nancy Mowll Mathews, co-author of Maurice Brazil Prendergast, Charles Prendergast: A Catalogue Raisonné, and accepted as a genuine work by the artist.

Condition Report:
The canvas is wax lined and there is frame abrasion at edges. The work appears to be slightly dirty and there is fine surface cracking throughout. Under UV: there is inpainting to frame abrasion at edges.
