Condition Report:
It has not been possible to examine the work out of its frame. The canvas is not lined. There is a milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating. However examination under UV light appears to reveal an area of retouching towards the left part of the lower edge and further smaller dots and lines of retouching to the sky in the upper left quadrant and towards the extreme edges. There are a few thin lines of stable craquelure in places, notably to the upper part of the “tabac” house. There is some slight frame rubbing along the extreme edges. This work is in overall good condition.
