MCCARTNEY PAUL: (1942- ) English singer, songwriter and musician, a member of the Beatles & MCCARTNEY LINDA (1941-1998) American photographer and musician, a member of the band Wings and the wife of Paul McCartney from 1969-98. A good signed 8 x 10 photograph by both Paul and Linda McCartney individually, the image depicting Paul McCartney standing in a full-length pose in costume as a cowboy from the short film The Cooler (1982) which was directed by Kevin Godley and Lol Creme and combines three songs from Ringo Starr´s album Stop and Smell the Roses. Photograph by Linda McCartney and bearing her credit in the right white border. Signed by both Paul and Linda McCartney in bold black inks with their names alone to clear areas. An unusual image to find signed. An ink annotation in the hand of a collector to the verso indicates that the signatures were obtained in person at the time of McCartney´s appearance on the classic French television show Sacrée Soirée on 31st May 1989.
