MCM Tokyo Japan Mikimoto Sterling Silver Pearl Tie Clip

This is a handsome and rare vintage tie clip from noted Japanese designer Mikimoto dating to the 1940s/50s. Rendered in fine sterling silver, this Mid Century Modern clip features a stylized botanical motif finished with four well-matched cultured pearls. Marked with Mikimoto's maker's mark on the back. Dimensions: It is 1 7/8" x 5/16". The pearls are each about 4.2mm diameter. Weight: Total of 6g
Condition Report: In overall very good condition with minor surface scratches and abrasions to the silver consistent with age and normal use. The pearls exhibit nice nacre and uniformity.
