MEISSEN coffee, tea, and dinner service “Indian Flower Orange,” mostly from 1924–34 and later, first-grade quality. White porcelain with orange-colored decoration featuring Indian flowers and gold accents; 73 pieces in total, 41 of which feature seahorses: coffee pot with helmet-shaped lid, H 23.5 cm; 1 replacement lid in a larger size; 8 cups (2 with chips on the rim); 11 saucers (8 with chips on the rim, 2 of which have hairline cracks on the underside), milk jug, H 11 cm; lidded jar, D 7.5 cm; 6 dinner plates, D 24.5 cm; 1 oval platter, L 42 cm; 1 large oval platter, L 48.5 cm; 2 dessert plates, D 15.5 cm; 10 large cake plates, D 21.5 cm; mostly Pfeiffer-era sword marks. As well as 32 pieces without seahorses: 1 coffee pot (small chip on the lid rose); 5 coffee cups with 3 saucers; 1 teapot; 6 teacups (1 with a minor imperfection); 6 saucers; 8 large cake plates, diameter 22 cm; 1 sugar bowl (lid rose with a chip), diameter 8.5 cm; and 1 milk jug, height 10.5 cm.
