Rare & Iconic Men's Stainless Steel Rolex Oyster Cosmograph Floating "Big Red" Daytona with Oyster Bracelet, Reference 6263. Circa 1978. Case diameter 37mm. Case/Serial No. 5503546. Mechanical, hand-wound 17 jewel Valjoux caliber 727 movement. Original black dial with 3 white sub-dials and floating big red Daytona set slightly further above the 6 o'clock sub-dial (T Swiss T). Oyster case with screw-down chronograph pushers (originally water resistant to 100m). Black acrylic tachymeter bezel insert. Original Rolex Oyster steelinox bracelet No. 78350 with 13 links and 571 ends. Original dial is very clean, having a few chipped and missing lume dots. Watch includes original brown leather inner box with Rolex crown tang buckle, wooden interior and tan suede watch holder. Watch has not been refinished, and retains it's original Rolex factory finish with some scratches present to bezel, case and bracelet, commensurate with age. The acrylic crystal appears to be original, having the correct domed profile, with some light scratches (most notable just past 2 o'clock) and two hairline cracks at 9 o'clock.
