Serial #5504. Barrel length 7". Caliber 44-40. This is a 3d model, closed top, single action, birds head gutta percha grips, nickel finish, case color trigger guard & hammer. This revolver still retains at least 97% original factory nickel finish and nice color on both hammer and trigger guard. The rifling is sharp and well defined. The middle click that allows free movement of cylinder does not engage. These revolvers are well documented for there popular use in the wild west and this example has seen little use and remains in superb condition. (A)
