Rabbi Yissachar Dov Ber was a relative and friend of Rabbi Levy Yitzchak of Berditchev, and a disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch and of the Maggid of Zlotchov. He became Rabbi of Zlotchov, where he also headed a Yeshiva. Rabbi Yissachar Ber travelled to Eretz Yisrael in 1795, but passed away there later that year. Author of Mevaser Tzedek and Bas Eini.
