MG - B - 1969

Offered for sale is this MG MGB with a black coat of paint. This MG was originally delivered as a black car. This is a rare colour which makes the chrome parts stand out even better. The car was purchased from its first owner in the USA in 2017, as can be seen on the photo of the bill of sale. After this, the car has undergone a partial restoration during which all parts in need of replacement have been replaced. These included the rubbers, brakes and chrome parts. The car has also been repainted and new 15 inch MGC wheels with 72 spokes and new Michelin tyres have been installed as well. The interior is new and features rare MGC seats, which were the original seats in the 1969 version of the MGB. The SU carburettors have been revised and various attachments of the engine have been replaced, such as the water pump, alternator, starter and ignition, as well as the brakes, rubbers, etc. A new grey-tinted windscreen has been installed. A new soft top has been installed. The car comes with an appraisal report from December 2022. All booklets and leaflets are also included, as well as invoices for servicing and for the purchase of the car and a handbook from 1969 in perfect condition. According to the heritage certificate, the car has matching numbers. The radio and cigarette lighter in the car are original. A tonneau cover, car jack and spare wheel are included. Transport can be arranged by a recognised transport company at the buyer's expense. The MG can be viewed in Lanaken, Belgium.
