MG - TF 1500 - 1954

[ translate ]

This MG TF 1500 from November 1954 was first registered in the USA in 1955 and came to Spain in 1991. The vehicle is in excellent condition, it has Michelin XAS tyres, spoke wheels, a terpaulin, a tonneau cover, a convertible hood, side windows - everything is present and complete. It has a new recent inspection, the radiator was overhauled, an electric fan with thermostat was added and sealed, and it has a new cylinder head seal. The car has a British Heritage Certificate and is full matching numbers (engine, transmission, etc.) . The chrome in very good condition, only the quick release closure of the spare wheel shows slight spots. The car just got a new Spanish inspection (ITV) . Unfortunately, the man who brought the car to Spain decades ago did not pay attention to the correct cylinder capacity entry in the papers, and he entered 1,250 cc there; however, this car is definitely not a 1,250 cc car and does not have an engine with that cylinder capacity. If the car is exported to another country, this mistake can be corrected based on the Heritage Certificate. The car drives very nicely, it brakes perfectly, and the electrical system works flawlessly. The interior and the colour of the convertible hood are matching as well. They are probably original. This car has been standing for a long time before I bought it, which is why I had all the crucial work done on it (all invoices are present) , I also had the fenders repainted, because the car had a small bump on each side. The car is located in Spain, since I live there, and in can be viewed by appointment in Madrid / Alcobendas. The location of the car is Spain, because I live there, however, my workplace is in Frankfurt am Main in Germany. The car is now exactly 60 years old, so despite all the work carried out, there is no guarantee of any kind. Something can always fail or break on such an old car. Warranty excluded.
