MID-19TH CENTURY UNDERLEVER SPRING AIR RIFLE
We cannot find any maker but the style is that of other German or Belgium under lever spring air rifles. Features include a full octagon 20 3/4" barrel. Bore is 6.5mm. Rifle has dove tail front sight with single standing leaf rear sight. Loading lever on left side of fore-end. Underlever is the pumping tool. Trigger is set adjustable. Stock is finely checkered. Butt plate is smooth metal. Barrel still retains most of the thinning blue finish. Frame is gun metal dull gray. Stock is excellent with usual dings and handling wear. A very unusual rifle as most were brought back by returning GI's after both wars. A
