The potter, Mike Pugh, was trained in the North Carolina Tradition. He has been creating slipware, kiln fired, glazed functional pottery and fancy pots in an early American style since 1972. He resides in Kent County on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in a 250-year-old Quaker farmhouse.
