Balsamo brothers of Milano, dealers in American Excelsior motorcycles, started in the 1920s the production of their motorcycles with the brand Miller Balsamo. Over the years, the production of engines was expanded to include capacities ranging from 98 to 250 cc. In 1939, the brothers, always at the forefront of both technical and design developments, unveiled a completely faired 200 cc motorcycle. This was a remarkably cutting-edge solution for the time, and it helped to pave the way for the development of the scooters that were to prove so popular over the decades that followed. The motorcycle offered for sale is a beautifully preserved 200 “Carenata”. It is fully functional and comes with all its original documentation.
