Chinese Ming Dynasty Alum Red Dragon Porcelain Big Bottle Vase. The Porcelain potted in shaped bottle vase, large thick and tall, globular body slighty oval on the mid, cylindrical neck with close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against alum red fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
