Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Blue & white wrapped floral lidded hexagonal box. Potted in a slightly flattened hexagonal box, with hexagonal wide cavetto, correspondence dome lid, raised from hexagonal sides over a wide cavetto Inner flange circumscribed around the containers lip allows for a perfect fitment of the covering with gilt thick rings lines on the each rim. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color, depicted eight medallion of auspicious pattern in each sides, surrounded with repeating wanzi motief, Chinese ornament, enclosed with scrolling tendril and double fine blue rings lines. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

Mark on base, a six blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double rectangle borders, Made in The Years of of Wanli Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
