Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Jiajing crane motif porcelain bowl. Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward flaring mouth rim, raised on a high cylindrical, with slight concave footing. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against red and yellow, depicted of flying crane around Chinese calligraphy medallion, vapors, above thrashing lishui waves. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. Mark on base, six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings, Made In The Years JiaJing Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
