Pair of Chinese Ming Dynasty JiaJing Three Color Dragon Porcelain Lidded Jars. Potted into large jars shape, having thick and tall, globular body heavy on shoulder, short cylindrical neck with dome lid finial bud, round mouth lip and raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years JiaJing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
