Chinese Ming Dynasty Wanli Blue and White Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of qilin careening through cumulus clouds and flaming vapors. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct. ?The Under-base bears a reign mark, a single under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double blue rings lines. Made in The Years WanLi Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
