Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande Blue and White Porcelain spring Vase. This vase has a Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, the pear shaped bottle, flaring mouth, a spherical abdomen, and a regular vessel shape. Its patterns on the surface are classic, simple, elegant and pretty. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in blue and white color, depicted of abundant ripe pomegranate tree with fresh foliage, sturdy branch and flowers bloom. Pomegranate is known as the fruit of happiness for its red color and is a symbol of plentiful offspring for its many seeds, as well as good luck for one's descendants. The Daoist attribute to it the same power as the peach of immortality.The Under - base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue rectangle lines. Made in The Years Xuande Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
