Cal. 28. S# 13411. Bbl. 3 1/2" oct. w/ 2 line Colt address on top flat. 8 1/2" Overall. Colt Root side hammer revolver in standard configuration. CONDITION: very good as refinished, retaining most of its refinished blue w/ a couple areas of rust on cyl. Loading arms & hammer have traces of case colors. Stocks retain 95% of their original factory varnish w/ moderate sharp edge wear. Mechanically cocks, but will not index. Bore is crisp & shiny. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Dan Poppen.
