Ivory knob handle carved as a mongoose clasping a snake in its paws and mouth as the snake coils itself around the mongoose. Both animals with glass bead eyes. Lower portion of handle carved as stylized foliage. Briarwood shaft with metal collar and ferrule.
Length 37.5".
Condition Report: One of snake's eyes is probably a replacement. Age lines in ivory. Sticker residue and grime throughout. Black splatters on shaft. Ferrule deteriorating.
