No. 4M red ripple patterned hard rubber fountain pen, inset white captop star, no cap band, no barrel imprint, "MONT BLANC" cap imprint. Lever-filler. 120 mm. 14K gold No. 4 circle-vent Montblanc nib, rather firm. Very fine condition, red ripple hard rubber bright and clean, captop star toned and crazed, brassing to lever. No examples of the No. 4 lever-filler in red ripple are recorded in the standard Montblanc references; a rare pen.
