Plan of the "Week of the Aviation", organised in September 1909 by the Aero Club of Antwerp. The airfield of Wilrijk disappeared in 1921. - 2. "Champ d'aviation de l'Aéro Club d'Anvers. View of the first airfield of Belgium, founded by pioneer Pierre de Caters on his own property. Both plans by Fernand de Montigny (1885-1974), a Belgian architect and Olympic fencer. Together with L. Somers, he drafted the Stadion for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp, situated on 't Kiel.
