MONUMENTAL CUT HANGING HALL LAMP SHADE, colorless with frosted finish, globular-form with flared rim, graduated rows of waffle with circle pattern, neck with punties and intertwined with a swirling band, fitter with a fixed cast brass band with assorted scrolls and stylized fleur-de-lis. Together with a stamped brass hanging frame ring, fitted with three acanthus-leaf form hanging hooks, ring-patterned with stylized scrolls and acanthus leaves. Two pieces total. Mid 19th century. Shade 13 7/8" H, 4" D fitter, 11 5/8" D rim. Hanging ring 12 3/4" inner D.

Condition Report: Undamaged and with expected wear, top rim with potstone, as made. Ring undamaged and with minute wear.
