MOORE HENRY: (1898-1986) Anglo-Irish Sculptor. T.L.S., Henry Moore, one page, 4to, Herts, 24th July 1956, on his personal printed stationery, to Mrs. Berman. Moore states `It is very nice to know that you like the little bronze so much that you would like to acquire it. I am afraid, though, that it is the last copy left of that one and belongs to my wife.´ further referring to the Holland exhibition `Is it too much trouble for you to bring the sculptures back here sometime after the Exhibition ends..´ and concludes saying `We had a very enjoyable time in Holland but a very full one. The Rembrandt Exhibitions are wonderful.´ VG
