Charming miniature mantel or carriage-form clock by Platinum, featuring a luminous mosaic of individually fitted mother-of-pearl tiles with beautiful natural iridescence. The architectural case is richly accented in polished gold-tone metal with a shaped arched top, stepped base and decorative ball-and-ring finial. The petite round dial is signed Platinum, with stylized Arabic numerals, black hands and QUARTZ designation. Reverse clock cover is stamped CHINA. A decorative little timepiece with a jewel-box quality, combining shimmering shell mosaic with bright gold-tone detailing. Similar miniature Platinum quartz clocks appear in the secondary market.
