MOTHERSHEAD; a 19th century 50 bore flintlock pocket pistol, the 2.75" turn-off barrel with muzzle cut for key and sprung 2.25" tri-blade beneath, with sliding trigger guard latch, box lock with maker's details, top hammer with push-in safety and mounted on walnut grip, overall length 20cm.Condition Report - Please note that this lot is not suitable for our in-house postage service. We would recommend booking a collection slot for this lot or contacting Bradleys Antique Packing Services for postage of this lot, their details can be found on https://www.adampartridge.co.uk/services/transport/ Overall ok condition with good patina throughout, grip marks visible to breech end of barrel, blade latch is loose, safety does not appear to be functional but fires from half and full cock position with good spring tension, powder pan cover does not have great tension and is slightly loose, grips fractured and re-glued, with further surface wear visible including scuffs, scrapes, losses etc, otherwise appears to be ok.
