Splendid orientalist view "TIPASA AND MONTE CHENOUA", by the painter M. P. AUZALE, dated 1945. The work is an oil on panel, painted in a very material way, by the landscape artist M. P. AUZALE, working in the first half of the 20th century and known for his orientalist landscapes, full of color and warm atmosphere. The painting portrays the old city of Tipaza, the lighthouse with the rocky coast and the Chenoua mountain in the background. On the back of the panel there is a label with the title of the work, the date 1945 and the painter's signature. There is little information about this artist, but there are good auction passages that can be found on sites specialized in sales results. In 1991, a smaller painting was sold by TAJAN for 1140 euros.
