MUSEUM UV Active Green to Blue TWINNED FLUORITECrystal cluster - 13.5×7×7 cm - 570 g

A very colorful group of fluorite cubes matrix. Of course this fluorite exhibits a very lively purplish fluorescence under both longwave and shortwave UV light. It also exhibits a property called daylight fluorescence, where the edges of the cubes acquire a blue tint in the presence of normal daylight - this happens even in the shade, as seen in the photos below. Some photo's taken with UV light present. Crystals are very gemmy. Specimen come's from late find in Rogerley mine, circa 2006. The diffrence betwen this piece from old find and specimens from new finds, the color is much deeper and stronger as wee can see here. Excellent high quality twinned and gemmy crystals up to 2. 3cm
